Statement of USCIRF Chair, Stephen Schneck
On September 27, 2024, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) released a special report on the religious situation in Vietnam. On November 21, 2024, BPSOS held a press conference with the participation of Dr.Stephen Schneck, USCIRF Chairman, to introduce this important report to the public. At the press conference, Mr. Stephen Schneck outlined the strategies that the Vietnamese government has thoroughly exploited as well as the religious organizations that have been controlled as tools in the plan to destroy independent religious organizations.
